Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
A restorative evening combining fully supported yoga postures with a guided Yoga Nidra practice at Yoga Nest Zürich.
Why it caught our eye
Both practices are designed around rest, making this a considered option for anyone feeling depleted, overstimulated or simply in need of pause.
About this experience
Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra come together in a quiet practice of guided rest. Bolsters, blankets and blocks support the body in gentle, longer-held poses, followed by a meditation through body and breath. No strength, flexibility or experience is required. Hands-on support is offered only with consent. Wear warm layers; the studio provides props. Tell the teacher beforehand if pregnant so the practice can be adapted. After recent surgery or with an acute injury, consult a doctor before attending.
What you can expect
Gentle restorative poses with bolsters, blankets and blocks, followed by a guided body-and-breath meditation between waking and sleep.
Good to know before you go
Props are provided; wear warm layers. Hands-on assists are consent-based. Tell the teacher if pregnant, and seek medical advice after recent surgery or acute injury.
